Final Portfolio

Transfer Photos

For my homophone I used the words Chard and Charred. The first chard being a leafy vegetable, which I used rainbow chard, to add color in my photos and the second Charred is to burn slightly, or scorch. I then used a packing tape transfer to create an accordion book.

For my other transfer assignment I decided to use a decal to transfer them onto glass tiles. I used the word transitory as my inspiration for my photos.

Jazz Photo

For my Jazz Photo I decided to use more items that represented the traveling Jazz artist and the things he/she might carry with him on the road and I used a dark background to help create the mood of Jazz music. This photo was then used to create a poster for the Portland Jazz Festival.

I thought the Freezer Paper Method and Wax Paper Method were both interesting techniques and would be cool to do.

I also really like would try to do a transfer on canvas and wood. Those are my favorite ones.
